Creamy, sebum-friendly clay

Sapienic is formulated by industry experts to honour the barrier, sebum and biome. Because Sapienic doesn’t believe in traditional cleansers [which can cause sebum stripping], this product is formulated specifically to remove the day when necessary. Not just makeup, but SPF too. It has a PH of 5.3 while gently exfoliating through Kaolin and some Lactic Acid. Sans foaming agents.

A gentle, non-foaming cleanser based on Aloe Vera and Kaolin Clay, coupled with fatty acids. What’s cool about it is that it’s not a water-based cleanser, but rather its main ingredients include juicy, soothing Aloe. Effective to remove makeup.

This product contains: aha, exfoliants, vitamin c and vitamin e. It is free-from: harsh alcohols, common allergens including EU-allergens, sulphates, silicones, essential oils and parabens.

It is good for: sensitive and dry skin due to the gentleness of kaolin and soothing properties of Aloe. It is likely good for brightening skin.

Why the product carries our ‘sustainably minded packaging’ badge: Outer carton is compostable, made from recycled card with an organic cotton tag. The primary packaging is glass. Sapienic offsets its carbon- and plastic footprint.

Protecting the skin barrier is a key element for healthy skin. With so many compromised barriers out there, including sensitized and over-treated skin etc. this gentle Makeup Remover is the ideal gentle go-to for needing to remove SPF and makeup in the evening. It's a clay-based fluid--an ideal middle man (alternative) between a foaming cleanser and a balm. Highly recommended for repairing balance and the barrier.
