Vegan Scalp Potion

R890,00 incl VAT

A golden elixir for the scalp.

Scalp health is as essential to hair health as the microbiome is to overall health. High quality haircare with Cut By Fred, c’est du gâteau.

X-clusive to straål, avec plaisir.

7 in stock

A hair treatment potion meant to massage into the scalp to encourage scalp health. The health of our scalps is generally a highly underrated part of a healthy body. Too often we forget to take care of our scalps–the basis for having beautiful hair! Once a hair follicle (the part where the hair grows out of) is damaged, it’s very difficult to recover. CUT BY FRED offers a ritual to boost scalp health to provide it with everything it needs.

The VEGAN SCALP POTION soothes redness, itching and reduces dry dandruff. It is a deep treatment that will, in addition to having a ‘cleansing’ effect, stimulate the circulation of the scalp and therefore the growth. The results of the VEGAN SCALP POTION is complemented when used in combo with the STIMULATING SCALP BRUSH.

It’s unique due to being free-from: silicones, PEGs, synthetic fragrances, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Petroleum products, SLS (sulphates), SLES (sulphates), MIT, Triethanolamine, Parabens, Phthalates, Denatured Alcohol, Formaldehyde forming agents, Coal Tar and Triclosan.

This product is: Made up of essential fatty acids in the form of multiple plant oils including one we rarely see, namely: Gold-of-Pleasure Oil (found in products like Lancôme’s coveted Absolue Precious Oil, as just one example). A golden elixir for your hair.
  • Draw partings and apply several drops of VEGAN SCALP POTION once a week on your scalp.
  • Massage all areas of the scalp for a long time with the fingertips. For optimal stimulation, massage with the STIMULATING SCALP BRUSH.
  • <Leave on for several hours or even overnight, rinse, shampoo and use the VEGAN HYDRATION MASK if needed

For extra tips, check out our instagram or CUT BY FRED’s [stunning] instagram/website.
  • Our favourite: Gold-of-Pleasure Oil (aka Camelina Sativa Oil) is distinguished from many other oils in that it has a very high percentage of rare Alpha-linolenic Acid in comparison–a very important fatty acid for dry skin (major source of omega 3 known for their anti-inflammatory action and gives flexibility to the cell membrane. It is recognised for its soothing and restorative power).
  • Baobab oil (concentrated in saturated fatty acids, particularly moisturising, strong anti-inflammatory properties).
  • Marula oil (concentrated in oleic acid–involved in the production of the cell membrane, rich in minerals and vitamins. Acts on the sensitised and irritated scalp by reducing redness, itching and dandruff).
  • Grape seed oil (rich in vitamin E, exceptionally antioxidant and protective of the cell membrane).
  • Magnolia flower extract (acts directly on sensitised and irritated scalp, reducing redness and itching).
  • Inula flower extract (boosts cell proliferation for a regenerating and protective action).
This product contains essential oils including some EU allergen essential oils.
Herbaceous: Natural, nutty with a touch of vegetable. Subtle blend of orange, ginger and neroli notes.
Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil, Parfum (Fragrance), Caprylic / Capric Triglyceride, Camelina Sativa Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Magnolia Officinalis Bark Extract, Inula Critmoide Flower / Leaf Extract, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, Citral, Farnesol, Citronellol.

Please note that ingredient lists are sometimes subject to change from the manufacturer (especially when brands are making improvements!). We do our best at straål to keep the lists current. We cannot be held liable for changes between batches or changes without notice.
Massaging this into the scalp after a sauna or steam (especially with the Scalp Brush) is a good step for anyone's scalp health--often wildly neglected part of hair health.
