Always be sun smart! No matter your SPF preference, re-application is always necessary as well as protecting yourself with clothing and shade. Ears, scalps and feet are often neglected areas for sunscreen. Avoid peak hours depending on your geographic region. Have your moles checked regularly.Apply directly onto skin, making sure to evenly cover all areas that will be exposed to the sun. Mineral UV filters are effective immediately upon application, however, it is recommended to wait 15 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply often, and especially after water exposure. This sunscreen is great as a daily SPF – apply as the last step in your skin care routine (over moisturiser and under make-up). Still, be sun smart!

*SPF numbers indicate how long it will take for your skin to burn. How quickly your skin burns also depends on your skin type, and the intensity of the sun rays. A SPF 30, for example, means that if you usually burn in 10 minutes (fair skin), the sunscreen will provide protection for up to 30x longer before burning, and hence also before reapplication is required. An SPF 30 protects you against about 97% of UVB rays, whereas an SPF 50, provides about a 98% protection.

A hint of green tea and mint, though this product is not “perfumed”. The scent likely comes from ingredient components.
